Frequently Asked Questions
-
We see all people with upper limb problems, including shoulder, upper arm, elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand.
In many cases, surgery is not required, but we can perform a thorough clinical assessment of the problem or injury, arrange imaging or other diagnostic tests as required, and formulate a treatment plan.
Sometimes this may be specialist physiotherapy or hand therapy, but can also include ultrasound guided injections, other treatments including dry needling and shockwave therapy, as well as arthroscopic (keyhole) and open surgery when required.
If you have another related issue, for example a neck problem, we can arrange referral to a specialist for further assessment and treatment if required.
